Happy 4th of July and a "Goodbye"!

Happy 4th of July everyone!!

For those of us who live surrounded by water...

this day means sun, water, and beach fun!!

So here's a card inspired in some *summer* fun...

It's a shaker card featuring the lovely Tilda on the Beach. She was colored in Prismacolor Pencils and I used sand to fill in the shaker. Isn't it cool? ;)

Patterned paper and sentiment is Magnolia, as well as the doohickey white flower and pale pink flower. The rest of the flowers were handmade. I also used pink tulle, brads and pearls.

I also did another shaker card for Saturated Canary stamps, in case that you are looking for more summer inspiration. You can see it here!

Now I have some news to share...

This is my last post as a Magnolia Design Team Member. I felt that is was time for me to move on and pursue other dreams and projects. I'm really grateful for the opportunity that Magnolia has given me to be part of their team and I will always cherish all the wonderful friends and memories that I had during my term as a DT.

And "Thank You" to all of you my dearest followers!! Each one of you, with your support, made of this journey an amazing experience.

I will still be coloring, designing, creating, and sharing ideas, since crafting is an essential part of my life. So if you want to keep up with me, you can still do so by subscribing *here*.

Again... A BIG THANK YOU!! ~xoxo~

Prismacolors and Magnolia

This is the second class that I taught at our local scrapbook event: *How to color Tilda with Prismacolor Pencils and Mineral Spirits*.

That's me... the 3rd one from left to right :-)

*Papeles y Más Magazine*... the primary sponsor for this event.

My classroom was full of amazing, talented ladies... and even a very talented gentleman was there taking my class ;-)

And here's the project that we created...

A paper bag featuring the lovely *Unsunny Sky Tilda*.

It was late and we were tired, so I couldn't take a picture of the entire group with their project, but still we had lots of fun and everyone was pleased with the results.

*THANK YOU SO MUCH* Magnolia for sponsoring my class!!
I couldn't have made it without you!

Happy New Year & A Calendar!

Happy New Year everyone!!

I am so happy that the new year is here! To me it means a *new start*... *new beginnings*... *refreshed expectations*!

And what a better way to start the new year with a calendar craft ;-)

I made this cutie a frame/shadow box like with lots of 3D-mensional stuff...

Even on Tilda I did a paper piecing technique (wings), so that she looked 3D-mensional too!

And on the back it has a pocket to store calendar pages and/or any other thing that you want ;-)

This was really fun and easy to put together, and I hope that you find it inspirational! Below is a video tutorial that I did not so long ago on how to make this shadow box. I hope that you like it too! :-)

And make sure to leave a comment and/or subscribe to both my blog and You Tube Channel ok? ;-)

Happy Crafting!!

Papers, tags and flower border are also from Magnolia, heart border is from Memory Box, flowers are Prima Marketing and Wild Orchid Crafts, and the rest are trims, ribbons, doily, washi tape, and pearls, along with some machine stitching ;-)

I hope that you are having a lovely day!! xoxo

A *Girly* Bag

Hi everyone!

Here's a super cute project that I made recently...

A *girly* bag ;-)

I made the bag inspired on one made by Flo. She makes the most beautiful projects ever, so make sure to check her blog out!

The stamp is On the Road Tilda from Magnolia's latest collection.

I colored her with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I simply *loooooove* this technique!!

And this reminds me that... I will be sharing a tutorial soon on how to color with this technique. Only that it will be for my Spanish speaking friends and fans. But don't be discouraged, because I plan on uploading the English version soon ;-) So stay tuned!

A Mother's Day Card

Hi there lovelies!

Here's my latest card using *Ballerina* Tilda from the latest Magnolia stamps collection...

The sentiment is computer generated and it reads *Happy Mother's Day!*

Now this card is for a special friend of mine ;-) I hope that she likes it!!

I'll be back soon with another creation. Thanks for stopping by!!

  • Stamp - Ballerina Tilda
  • Inks - StazOn Baby Blue, Distress Inks, Acrylic Paint
  • Patterned Paper - Melissa Frances
  • Card Template - QuicKutz
  • Oval Template - Nestabilities

It's Almost Spring!

And what a good way to receive it by having a basket full of fresh and happy colors, flowers, and Easter eggs...

Cones seem to be very *in* lately, so I decided to go with the flow and create one too ;-)

I filled it with eggs that I made using the new Doo Bee Pops by Magnolia. The sweet DT member Ying made a quick and easy tutorial on how to use these if you still don't know how to.

I decorated its middle with Spring flowers, trims and seam binding, a Doo Hickey Folded Heart, and a sentiment from Magnolia. For the cone, I used a patterned paper from Magnolia too!

And for the bottom part, I hanged seam binding, sheer ribbon, and two circle Doo Bee Pops, which I attached with embroidery floss and acrylic hearts that hang to its end.

It was all very quick and easy, and it makes a nice home decoration ;-)

By the way, we have two *new Design Team members*. Please welcome:
