Happy 4th of July everyone!!
For those of us who live surrounded by water...
this day means sun, water, and beach fun!!
So here's a card inspired in some *summer* fun...
It's a shaker card featuring the lovely Tilda on the Beach. She was colored in Prismacolor Pencils and I used sand to fill in the shaker. Isn't it cool? ;)
Patterned paper and sentiment is Magnolia, as well as the doohickey white flower and pale pink flower. The rest of the flowers were handmade. I also used pink tulle, brads and pearls.
I also did another shaker card for Saturated Canary stamps, in case that you are looking for more summer inspiration. You can see it here!
Now I have some news to share...
This is my last post as a Magnolia Design Team Member. I felt that is was time for me to move on and pursue other dreams and projects. I'm really grateful for the opportunity that Magnolia has given me to be part of their team and I will always cherish all the wonderful friends and memories that I had during my term as a DT.
And "Thank You" to all of you my dearest followers!! Each one of you, with your support, made of this journey an amazing experience.
I will still be coloring, designing, creating, and sharing ideas, since crafting is an essential part of my life. So if you want to keep up with me, you can still do so by subscribing *here*.
Again... A BIG THANK YOU!! ~xoxo~

~XOXO~ Card
Two of my Magnolia cards will be published in the next issue of our local scrapbook magazine *Papeles y Más*... and one of them is this one:
I thought it would be nice to create something different to my usual style...
A *simpler* and a little bit *manly* card. I thought it would be nice to create something different to my usual style ;)
And to add a little bit more fun, I did it in 3D and added embroidery floss to the balloons. The sentiment is chipboard by Make It Crafty, which I colored with Copics. And Edwin was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Mineral Spirits.
Anyway, I can't wait for the magazine to be published and see what the rest of the ladies did! It sure is going to be a terrific issue :-)

Feliz Navidad
This is a card that I did for a local magazine...
one of my 1st projects as a DT member for them :-)
I colored her with Prismacolor Pencils and used papers made by Teresa Collins. The sentiment is in Spanish and it is from Stamping Up.

Magnolia Advent Calendar - Day 5
Hello lovelies!!
It is my turn (Day 5) in this amazing Magnolia Advent Calendar.
Today I am going to be sharing with you a *Christmas card* that I created using the lovely Stocking Tilda from the Winter Wonderland 2013 Collection.
To create this card I used a shaped tag template by QuicKutz, papers are Vintage Christmas by My Minds Eye, the paper wreath is by Memory Box, oval templates are Nestabilities by Spellbinders, and the sentiment is also from the Winter Wonderland Collection.
I used Prismacolor Pencils with Mineral Spirits to color Tilda and to create the background. I just simply loooove this technique and will probably be using it more often, so I hope that you like it ;-)
------------------------------------------------------------
**Now for the fun part... make sure to leave a comment under this post for a chance to win a beautiful prize by the most amazing Magnolia people!! But hurry up!! Because comments under this post will close in exactly *one* day.**
And stay tuned to Magnolia World over at Facebook, because each day during the entire month of December there will be a new blog post by each one of the Design Team members with a new chance to win fabulous prizes :-)

Summer
Because we are in the middle of Summer...
Time for sun... beach... fun!!! Sorry to my Aussie friends ;-)
Here's a tag that I created with one of the newest Magnolia stamps from the Summer Breeze 2013 Collection...
I wanted to make this look more like a keepsake, so I placed the colored Tilda on cream cardstock to simulate a Polaroid photo. The rest was just embellishments ;-) At the end of this post you will find the supplies list.
And here's a photo I took of our Summer vacations last year. It is a sunset from my beautiful Puerto Rico!
Thanks for stopping by!

A Mother's Day Card
Hi there lovelies!
Here's my latest card using *Ballerina* Tilda from the latest Magnolia stamps collection...
Since tomorrow we celebrate Mother's Day, I thought that this stamp would look cute for a gift. I colored her with Distress Inks, paper pieced her crown with 3D dots and added Stickles to make certain areas to *pop-out* from the card.
The sentiment is computer generated and it reads *Happy Mother's Day!*
Now this card is for a special friend of mine ;-) I hope that she likes it!!
I'll be back soon with another creation. Thanks for stopping by!!

Tilda in 3D
Hi everyone!
It's time for some Easter inspiration ;-)
So today I'm going to share with you my latest card using a lovely Tilda from the newest Easter 2013 Collection.
Yes, I'm hooked with these shaped cards! They're so much fun to create and look soooo pretty ;-)
I colored Tilda with Distress Inks and I added Stickles to certain areas for a sparkly touch.
And here's a neat trick...
I stamped *twice* both images (the background and Tilda), colored everything, and then cut out certain pieces from both images and adhered them to the main ones with 3D dots, as seen in the picture.
You can see how the technique is done in this video that I created a couple of months ago, which features another stamp and card, but the process is exactly the same.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Sweet Valentine
Hi everyone,
Here's a last minute card that I created for Valentine's Day...
This is Tilda with Big Ice Cream and she is my very first Tilda with *no lines* technique... Woohooo!!!
I always struggled with this technique and after having tried many~many times, I finally could create one (at least decent enough to show off...LOL!!)
Here's a close-up of her...
I also did a *wash-out* effect on her with white acrylic paint to *fade* her just a little bit and to give her an even more watercolor effect ;-)
All in all, I really liked how she turned out :-D
Finally, I'm happy to announce that we have four new DT members...
~ Jill ~
~ Giada ~
~ Ashlee ~
~ Shirin ~
Click on their names to visit their blogs and give them a *warm welcome* to Magnolia!!
Happy Valentine's Day!!

Tilda Interactive Card
Hi everyone!
Today I want to share with you an interactive card that I created using one of the many beautiful Tildas from the newest Valentine's Collection.
I created the base of the card using a 8-pointed star shape that I found on the internet. I loved this shape and how cute it made the card look. I'm definitely going to use it again!
Now for the interactive part... this is what's behind Tilda:
That tiny spiral that you see there is called a "wobble" and what it does is that it makes your image move or shake.
At the bottom of this post you will find a short video in which I show you how it works. I'm also pretty excited about this video, because for the first time you'll hear me speaking in English!! :-o So please don't laugh ok? LOL!
Also at the end of the video you'll find the supplies list for this card.
And here's the latest on Cupcake. She was looking out the window and it was a perfect setting to take a pic of her ;-)
Thanks for stopping by!!

Shepherd Tilda
At only one week until Christmas, I can say that I'm almost ready for this big event.
My cards were mailed...
My home decoration is done...
I'm almost finished with my shopping...
My December Daily is in process and it's looking fabulous ;-)
I made a Christmas Photo Session for some happy customers...
And of course, I made some time out to play with my Magnolia stamps ;-D
Like the title says, this is Shepherd Tilda on a lovely background of Bethlehem. Everything is colored with Distress Inks.
I made a shaped card with Nestabilities and my Big Shot. The most talented Camilla has a -->tutorial on how to make one.
Papers are from Simple Stories, flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (and from some other companies), the heart tag is Magnolia, the sentiment reads "Merry Christmas" and is from Stampin' Up, and I also used trims, a doily, cheese cloth, and machine stitching.
Oh and guess what? That little fellow to the left just announced that he knows who Santa really is!! :-o My reply: "Good! Because now you can tell yourself to that person that I want an iPad for Christmas." LOL!!
Happy Stamping!!
