I'm Back!!! :-D

...or I hope so!  LOL!  Let's keep our fingers crossed ;-)

But before I start blogging, I want to share with you  this blog:

It's such a nice place, where you can find wonderful ideas and inspiration...

and the best part is that I was featured in it!!!  YAY!!! :-D

So please, don't forget to visit it, ok?  I'm sure you're going to like it as much as I do ;-)

***************************************

Now for my main post...

What a better way to start blogging again than with a challenge, huh?

This week's challenge is from Just Magnolia...  all you have to do is create a card using the following sketch:

And here's my version of it:

Please bear with me...  lately my pics are not are their best!  I got myself a new camera and I'm still learning how to use it :-s  Also, I enrolled myself in this *Photography Class*...  so right now I'm doing *baby steps* until I feel comfortable enough to use my new camera like a Pro.

Anyway, I have returned to my comfort zone and did what I like the most:  stitching & distress ;-D

Also, I did a lot of layering to add more dimension to the card...  See?  See?

About the flowers...  well, you must be sick and tired of reading that I handmade them!  So I won't get into much detail about them...  only that I used Distress Inks (Antique Linen and Tumbled Glass) to color them, with some Pearl Ex to add some shimmer.

And as always, following this post you will find the supply's list ;-)

Thanks for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments!

Recipe:
  • Patterned Paper - Girls Paperie
  • Stamps - Magnolia, Hero Arts
  • Inks - Jet Black StazOn, Timber Brown StazOn, ColorBox Chalk, Distress Inks (Hair: Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain; Skin: Tattered Rose, Tea Dye, Worn Lipstick; Shirt, Sneakers & Bow: Spun Sugar; Pants: Broken China, Antique Linen, Fired Brick; Flowers: Victorian Velvet, Crushed Olive, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo)

Zulma
