Magnolia Ribbon Bookmark

Good day everyone!

Today I want to share with you my latest Magnolia creation...  a ribbon bookmark...

It is part of Splitcoaststampers' Try a New Technique Challenge (TLC305)...

And, of course, with Magnolia as my main character ;-)

Here's who it looks when place in a book...

I did it a little bit different from the instructions though...  it's 10" long (instead of 18")...  and added some bling and ribbons ;-)

And here's Tilda...

Tilda was colored with Distress Inks (Hair:  Antique Linen & Vintage Photo; Skin:  Tattered Rose, Tea Dye, Aged Mahogany; Dress:  Victorian Velvet)...  and I added Stickles for some dimension ;-)

I used Nestabilities for the oval and scalloped oval shapes...  did some machine stitching and added some pink pearls from Tickled Pink Stamps as a final touch :-D

It was definitely a nice project and will be making it again!  It even makes a nice gift ;-)

Thanks for stopping by!!
